Writing, especially poetry, but any kind really, makes it easier to express yourself.

Octa - Thank you. I took your advice on my last poem and tried not to rhyme.

"Beware the Jabberwock, my son!
The jaws that bite, the claws that catch!
Beware the Jubjub bird and shun
The frumious Bandersnatch!"Min (Thalia)https://www.blogger.com/profile/13503909264289999989noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3005978002586651447.post-23503540717771448542011-06-06T04:10:05.833-04:002011-06-06T04:10:05.833-04:00Really awesome poem. I'll try it next time I'm in the car.

Y'know, I'm starting to think that the reason I can't write happy poems is that my only poetry book is by Edgar Allan Poe. And not many of his poems are flowers and sunshine xD

(But I do own Through the Looking Glass, which has the poem Jabberwocky in it. Love that poem.)Min (Thalia)https://www.blogger.com/profile/13503909264289999989noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3005978002586651447.post-7653696658160964112011-06-05T19:47:52.886-04:002011-06-05T19:47:52.886-04:00That's not so depressing... it's a tad dep...That's not so depressing... it's a tad depressing.... but, I mean, you think you're here for a reason... that's not so depressing :]
Besides, I bet you could write happy ones. You just have to try and take time with it. I find that writing poetry is best for me when I'm in the car and being driven somewhere. Then I just look at the window and think about it... then write down a couple lines that come to me. It's best when it's 20+ minute drive, but really, any drive :]
I don't know if that will help any xD But HOPEfully it will :]Skyril A.K.A the Vociferous Chatterer, Loyal Forever and Always, The Ever-Present, the Pluviophilehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07957221088712534264noreply@blogger.com
